Point of Vision welcomes two new senior staff members

ATLANTA, August 15, 2006 -- Point of Vision welcomes new hires David Greenberg and Holger Kappenstein, reflecting the firm's continued growth and adding to its roster of thoughtful communicators.

Greenberg joins POV as a Marketing Strategist. With nearly 20 years of communications experience, he will work with new clients to develop communication solutions as well as direct POV’s internal marketing initiatives. With extensive experience in the creative and strategic sides of marketing communications, David understands the nuances of well-branded design as well as the motivations of the clients’ audiences. He has worked as a freelancer and with several leading brand consultants, marketing agencies and web development firms in Atlanta, and holds a Communications degree from the University of Illinois and a BFA in Graphic Design from Georgia State University.

Kappenstein joins POV as its first Creative Director. Holger originally hails from Germany and has 12 years of design experience at two of the world’s largest brand-consulting firms (Interbrand and Landor Associates) as well as with numerous small design studios. His international perspective and expertise in print collateral, typography and corporate identity systems elevates POV’s branding and design practice to new heights. He earned an MFA in Communications Design from the Braunschweig Academy of Fine Arts in Germany and currently teaches typography and typeface design at the Portfolio Center design and advertising school in Atlanta.

POV is an Atlanta-based firm that helps businesses and non-profit organizations communicate their brands more effectively through print, Web and the environment.
